What the Companion does

Mamba CBS Companion has one purpose: it reads the visible state of an open CBS Sports fantasy-football draft room so the Mamba CBS Draft Assistant can keep the user's draft board current. It cannot submit CBS picks, access CBS passwords, or browse unrelated websites.

Data the Companion accesses

When a supported CBS draft room is open, the Companion may read the league and draft-room identifier, team names, league size, draft length, draft position, completed selections, current pick, and the player names and positions displayed by CBS.

How the data is used and stored

The Companion temporarily stores the latest CBS draft snapshot in Chrome's local extension storage and sends it only to the Mamba CBS Draft Assistant website. Mamba uses that information to synchronize the available-player board, roster view, and recommendations. League setup, imported rankings, preferences, and draft state may be retained in the Mamba service under the signed-in user's account so a draft can be restored.

Ask Mamba

If a user voluntarily asks a question through Ask Mamba, the question and limited current-draft context are sent to OpenAI's API to generate an answer. The browser Companion itself does not send information to OpenAI, and Mamba does not use these requests to train its own model.

Sharing and sale of data

Mamba does not sell personal or draft data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to CBS draft assistance. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the product, including hosting, authentication, database services, and the optional Ask Mamba response service.

Extension permissions

• Storage preserves the most recent draft snapshot locally.
• cbssports.com access reads supported CBS draft rooms.
• Mamba site access delivers the snapshot to the user's Mamba session.

User control and retention

Users may clear an active draft, remove imported rankings, or uninstall the Companion at any time. Uninstalling clears extension-local data. Account-linked league data is retained while the beta service is active or until deletion is requested through the developer contact shown on the Chrome Web Store listing.

Security and Limited Use

Mamba limits access and data use to what is necessary for the Companion's disclosed single purpose and uses encrypted connections when information is transmitted. Mamba's use of information obtained through the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
